ohhhhh.
i just got back from the underground where we saw some comedian guy. i guess he was on the andy dick show and has his own show on comedy central and was voted "funniest college comedian" by hbo or something. it was fucking hilarious, i almost didn't go...i'm so glad that i did.
anyways...dance party in my room tonight since chelsea is in urbana visiting sean. :) |

okay. so i just had a really strange realization.
i was sitting in spanish, and my friend sarah goes to me "hey ashley, i didn't know you had curly hair!"
and instead of my usual response ["yeah, that's because i DON'T..."] i actually said "i know. it is curly...especially the underneath which is like spiral curls. i just never wear it down when it's curly..."
that's totally the first time i ever admitted that my hair was curly [atleast sometimes]. SO WEIRD. |

chelsea and i have to hide our microwave over the weekend because security is coming to inspect the rooms and microwaves are illegal. we are putting it in chelsea's suitcase and then putting that in the back of her closet. muhaha.
i wanted to call steven because i was going to listen to some cds he had that i wanted, but i totally forgot.

i couldn't be happier with the roommate change. we stay up until 3am every night just talking and laughing. listening to old school blink182 (tyler ;) and shake the beds and make funny noises to see if we can wake people up. oh, and make popcorn in our illegal microwave and watch the wade robson dance project. haha. |

i have to study for my psych exam tomorrow and read hamlet for language literature and culture.
boo.
atleast tomorrow is friday. but then i have to go to the drive thru invasion tour on saturday. sort of a waste of a saturday night. oh well, whatever.
i hurt my leg at tennis the other day and i had to go get it checked out today. i pulled/bruised my quad or something, so i'm supposed to lay low for a few days. who really cares because next thursday is our last practice until after christmas break anyways.
i really hope my honorary title cd comes sometime this week. i ordered a [insert the band you know i'm talking about here] shirt from merch direct a week or two ago, so that should be coming soon. yay, mail!
that reminds me...

I apologize for the delay in posting a statement about what has gone on in the last few days. Hopefully the following letter will say what would have been too difficult to announce any other way.
Today we are officially announcing that we have all mutually decided to stop being the Movielife. It has been the most incredible experience for all of us, but we have no plans to continue being a band. We care greatly for one another and wish each other the best that life can bring.
We want to thank everyone who has allowed us to be a part of their life. Every show and every person's effect on us has been immeasurable. We hope that we have created something that will continue to live and breathe like music should. It is difficult to find the words to explain the magnitude of various emotions we have all gone through recently. It also is difficult to make others understand how we have evaluated our futures.
The beauty of everything though has been the amount we have been able to share with all of you. All of our lives have forever been changed once we made this band our life. Every sacrifice has been worth it. You have all been our heart for so long and we are forever gracious for all that you have allowed us to become. We have been incredibly fortunate to have so many of our dreams come true. The only feeling that has surpassed that is the honor that it has been to share it with all of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Take care of one another. Love Always. The Movielife.

MEGHAN: thank you for the reply to my last post. you truly understand how much the movielife really meant to me (i mean, duh...we were together the first time we saw them! who could forget getting hit with sweaty hair from justin and "chris"? it was chris...right? haha...and how that guy was harassing us so steve beat him up? LOL) ahh. good times. although it was just by chance that we even went to that show and we both got in trouble because we got home too late! and think...the only reason i wanted to go was because midtown was supposed to play. hmmph. the scary thing is, i totally remember what i was wearing. REALLY REALLY SCARY.
ps-remember how we had a "we are finally done with fecko" party?

okay, so the movielife broke up, and i'm now missing a little part of myself. but this is the same way i felt with the whole scott raynor thing. and when taking back sunday broke up.
maybe the movielife will get back together....but even if they don't, i got a couple of really great friends out of the whole thing. besides, i'll get over it eventually.
because i'm going to marry vinnie ;)
